Wrapped in Love - Prayer Shawl Ministry

Anyone may request a shawl for someone they feel needs the comfort of a shawl and the prayers that were said as the project was being made.

    Wrapped in Love.  Meets the second Thursday of the Month in the narthex.  Wrapped in Love is a ministry created to make items of comfort for the Cancer Center, NICU, Pediatrics, and Spiritual Care departments of Yuma Regional Medical Center and senior living facilities in Yuma.   Items include hats, seatbelt covers, pillows, prayer shawls, lap blankets, Liquid nutrition bags and IV Pole covers to make the experience of IVs less frightening for children.  Come and learn.  Come and participate. 

**While the group meets once a month, the items are made on an ongoing basis.   Meets at 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. through the red doors.  This ministry involves both men, women and children.

      Attendance or membership at Gila Mountain United Methodist Church is not a requirement to participate in this group.
